Raptor Domain Kangaroo Island South Australia

Hello again,

Sorry been a bit slow on the updates, just back from a stunning week on Kangaroo Island South Australia, a highlight while there was having another visit back to Raptor Domain, such a fantastic way to get close and personal with these stunning birds.

All the staff are so helpful and the knowledge and information shared add to a truly wonderful experience, cannot rate a visit high enough

Very much enjoyed another visit to Raptor Domain, will be high on my list to go again on my next trip to Kangaroo Island, a huge thank you to Dana, Kirilly and all the staff who looked after us and of course a special thanks goes to all those stunning birds!

Raptor Domain

Overview

Raptor Domain is passionate to the protection and conservation of birds and reptiles through rescue, rehabilitation, education and research.

Birds of Prey presentation (1 hour) daily at 11.30am and 2.30pm.
Raptor Domain is home to the only free flight Birds of Prey presentation in South Australia. Enjoy a delightful interactive experience with their friendly Barn Owls; have a laugh with Banjo and Paterson the laughing Kookaburras; meet an array of birds including majestic Wedge-tailed Eagles; incredibly aerobatic Black Kites; chatty Cockatoos and many more. These presentations offer a rare opportunity to see and interact with some of Australia’s incredible birds in up close encounters.
